Norma Dean Parum Daniels, 81, of Odessa passed away Tuesday, March 23, 2010 at her residence.
She was born November 28, 1928 in Rogersville, Alabama. In 1941 she moved to Odessa with her parents and four siblings.
Norma became a caretaker at a very early age, joyfully caring for her ill mother and her siblings. After her mothers passing in 1962 she moved to California where she resided until she moved overseas in 1974. She returned to Odessa in 1985 and worked as a CNA in convalescent hospitals and private homes.
Norma was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend and will be missed by all. She was a dedicated Christian at the Eisenhower Church of Christ, and she is now with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
Preceded in death by her mother, Norma Parum, father, Burt Parum, and brothers, Gene & Pete Parum.
She is survived by her (2) sons, David Spears of Apple Valley, CA, and Brian Morey of Monrovia, CA, daughter, Janice Lynn Mazzettia of Brookings, OR , brother, Curtis Parum of Midland, sister, Betty Lou Branson of Odessa, grandchildren, Shelly, Ronda , Bobbie, Tina, Brandi, Stacy, Brian, Seani, Marie, Ashley & Leslie, (12) great-grandchildren and (9) great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, March 27, 2010 at Hubbard-Kelly Funeral home with Burt Groves officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
