Milton H. Davis Jr.

Milton H. Davis, Jr., 80 years old of Odessa, passed away Tuesday, April 15, 2014. He was born July 8, 1933 in Galveston, TX.

Milton received his Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Texas in Austin. He retired from Champion Technologies where he served as plant manager. He also served in the U.S. Army. Milton enjoyed fishing, bluegrass music, and fellowship with his family and friends. He was also a faithful member of Life Change Baptist Church.

Milton is preceded in death by his parents, wife Margie, and sisterBernice Stephenson. He is survived by his daughters Deborah Vanley and husband Damon of Midland and Laurie Schlehuber and husband Mark of Odessa; sister Linda Grett of Missouri City, TX; as well as nieces, nephews, and many dear friends.

A visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday, April 18, 2014 at Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, April 19, 2014 at Life Change Baptist Church with Rev. Leland Maples officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
