Maria Valdez Rodriguez

She married Victoriano Rodriguez Sr. on September 10, 1951. He preceded her in death, along with her daughter, Evangelina Rodriguez; grandson, Octavio Anthony Luna III; sisters, Delia Nieto, Gloria Perez; and brothers, Renee Valdez, Alvian Valdez, Ramon Valdez and Ector Valdez.

Maria is survived by her son, Victor Rodriguez Jr and wife Sylvia; daughters, Margie Luna and husband Octavio Jr and Mary Lujan and husband David; 9 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren; and 21 great-great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends for visitation at Odessa Funeral Home on Tuesday, April 4, 2023 from 11 AM-9 PM with the Rosary at 7 PM. Mass will be celebrated Wednesday, April 5, 2023 at 2 PM at St. Joseph Catholic Church followed by burial at the Peaceful Garden section of Ector County Cemetery. Victor Rodriguez III, Rene Rodriguez, Ismael Aguilar, Jonathan Aguilar, Anthony Aguilar, Nicholas Hernandez, Christopher Duran and Julian Cortez will serve as pallbearers.

The family would like to invite everyone to a reception immediately following the graveside service at Aldea Mia Events, 2732 N Grandview.
