Luis Sotelo

In our Heavenly Kingdom and the Loving Arms of Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ is to be found Luis Jimenez Sotelo age 89 of Odessa, passed away on September 18, 2017 at Medical center Hospital surrounded by all his family. He was born on February 14, 1928 in, Ojinaga, Mexico to Enrique and Romana Jimenez. He worked as a laborer in construction. He married Alicia on August 15th 1950 in Ojinaga, Mexico.

He is preceded in death by his parents and 4 brothers Jose Sotelo, Reyes Sotelo, Juan de Dios Sotelo and Enrique Sotelo and his 4 sisters Ester Leyva, Basillica Ramos, Felis Rubio and Lucia Sotelo.

He is survived by his loving wife Alicia s. Sotelo, Sons, Braulio Sotelo and wife Arcelia of Odessa, Texas, Jose Luis Sotelo and wife Nohelia of Presidio, Texas, Eduardo Sotelo and wife Olga of Odessa, Texas, and Jose De Jesus Sotelo also of Odessa, Texas daughters, Anita Salinas and husband Louis of Midland, Texas, Imelda Sanchez and husband Valentin of Presidio, Texas, Armida S. Pina and Mario of Odessa, Texas, and Maria Luisa Tavarez and Alberto Pena of Corpus Christi, Texas. He is also survived by 1 Sister Dolores Hinojos and husband Adalberto of Odessa, Texas 20 Grandchildren, 43 great grandchildren and 2 great- great grandchildren, nieces and nephews, cousins, and a host of friends. We the family would like to express or sincere gratitude to each and every one for your prayers, floral arrangements, food, offering and your presence with us during this most difficult time. Visitation will be Wednesday September 20, 2017 from 9pm-9pm with a Rosary recited from 7pm-9pm at the Odessa Funeral Home Chapel 1700 N. Jackson. Mass will be celebrated at 10am Thursday September 21, 2017 at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church 1321 W. Monahans Odessa, Texas location. Interment will follow at Ector County Cemetery LA Section.
