I am still in shock about the passing of my dear Linda. She was truly one of my biggest cheerleaders in life, Linda thought I could do anything! She adored my husband, too, and her wedding gift (a beautifully framed invitation to my wedding, which she attended) has hung on our wall since we got married. 

One of my dearest memories of Linda was the time she made one of the worst days of my life a little brighter. This was in 2011, and my beloved grandfather had just died. Due to scheduling limitations, his funeral had to be held on my birthday. It could’ve been the worst birthday ever, but Linda brought me such a sweet and meaningful gift that my spirits were lifted: one of her deceased husband David’s guitars. David and I had jammed a couple of times, and it meant so much to me to be gifted his amazing custom Telecaster, which I still play often. I’ll never forget Linda for doing such a sweet and selfless thing for me.

I can still hear her infectious laugh in my head, so joyful and enthusiastic. Linda was a dear friend, and I’m heartbroken that I didn’t get to say goodbye. I hope she knows I loved her, a lot.

Linda was a good friend to my family. She was also loved and respected by Natalie, my daughter. Natalie always felt a closeness to Linda and Linda to Natalie.

Sad to hear about my Sister in law passing away. Her energy and enthusiasm were a great compliment to my brother David throughout their 30 years of marriage. Rest in peace. 

This was the Sunday morning of 2/27/2010.  Linda is with Jennie and Brenda Rhodes at West Side Christian.  

Linda attended West Side Christian Church for about 12 years.  She was known by our congregation as a sweet gentle spirit.  We think of her fondly and extend the family our prayers and condolences.

As the youngest Goltz cousin of Linda Gay's, I have wonderful memories of riding in the back seat of the car as she and Susan drove from Dallas to Norman to drop me off at OU.  Litch and I shared many phonecalls over the years both from D.C. and Hot Springs.  She could always make me laugh . She had a wonderful spirit and I was blessed to share her with the world. We had a great time at the bar mitzvah in Hot Springs and being with family.  My love and prayers are with Joy and the entire family.

My baby sister will forever live in my heart.
Linda Gay was very special, sweet, kind, considerate, loving, & thoughtful.  We shared 79 years of wonderful memories.  Growing up in Austin, with our mother & daddy was heavenly.  They adored us, & we adored them.  They lavished us with anything we wanted.  And in return we learned love & respect.
Too many memories to share here.

Linda’s grandmother and my grandmother were sisters and Linda and I were very close cousins, from college roommates at Okla to roommates in Dallas in the 1960’s to sharing David’s guitar music, meeting in Tulsa when David was so sick to late night phone calls and love of Mexican food. We last spoke on my birthday in Sept. She never forgot and I will always love her and remember all the wonderful ups and downs of life we shared. My love to Joy and her family. I am not sure where Sammy Jr is but I do remember how concerned she was when his accident occurred. Hope he recovered. 
Please take care of her precious pets she loved .
Litch will be missed and may  her memory be a blessing.
