Laura Claudine Northcutt

Laura Claudine M. Northcutt, 73, of Odessa passed away September 14, 2010 in Odessa. She was born April 19, 1937 to Ernest Claude Morgan and Thelma Gaskins Morgan in Crowley, LA. She married Edward Newburn Northcutt September 1, 1957. Claudy and Ed enjoyed traveling the world.

She was a member of Mensa, Jaycettes, ECISD advanced learning projects, ECISD learning disabilities projects, TSTA board for testing, and multiple teaching organizations.

She was active in Bethany Christian Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister, Helen Ramke, in-laws, William and Ordra Northcutt.

She is survived by her husband, sons, Mark Northcutt and wife Rebecca of Oklahoma City, OK., Steve Northcutt and wife Donna of Southlake, TX., grandchildren, Conner Northcutt, Natalie Northcutt, Nick Northcutt, Hunter Tarley and Maddison Jones.

Family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m., Thursday, September 16, 2010 at Frank W. Wilson Funeral Directors.

Funeral service will be held 10:00 a.m., Friday, September 17, 2010 at Bethany Christian Church with Keith Gibbons officiating. Interment to follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Steve Northcutt, Mark Northcutt, Hunter Tarpley, Conner Northcutt, Dave Baum, and Steve Smith
