Laura Elaine Alvarado

ODESSA Laura Elaine Farias Alvarado, 40, of Odessa went home to be with her Heavenly Father Sunday, November 11, 2012, at Covenant Medical Center Hospital in Lubbock, Texas.

She was born November 3, 1972, in Odessa, Texas, to Ricardo Rene Farias and Sylvia Rosalia Rodriguez.

She is preceded in death by her maternal grandmother Mary Alice Rodriguez, and paternal grandparents Federico and Lucinda Farias.

Laura is survived by husband Alfonso Alvarado of Midland, son Noe Mendoza, Jr. of Weslaco, TX and daughters MaryJane Delgado and husband Manuel of Donna, TX and Sylanie Alvarado of Midland, mother Sylvia R. Farias of Odessa, and father Ricardo R. Farias of East Moline, IL, sisters Melanie Ceballos and husband Anthony, Symela Haun, and Rochel Zuniga and husband Jordan, all of Odessa, 3 grandchildren Marques Luna, Donovan Delgado and Jaynae Delgado, all of Donna, TX and maternal grandfather Bonifacio "Barney" Rodriguez of Odessa.

Open visitation will be held from 9:00 am-9:00 pm Wednesday, November 14, 2012 at Odessa Funeral Home Chapel.

Funeral Services are set for 2:00 pm Thursday, November 15, 2012, at Odessa Funeral Home Chapel with family members officiating.

Pallbearers will be Juan and Emikliio garcia, Marc and Adrian Renteria, Gabriel Valencvia and Jordan Zuniga.

Laura had a Servants heart,and very often went out of her way to help others. Hermotto for life,especially if she or her friends were feeling down,was"Be happy in your sadness!"

Interment to follow at Ector County Cemetery Peaceful Gardens Section.
