Kenneth E Geary

Kenneth Geary, 87, of Odessa passed away Saturday, November 29, 2014 at his home. He was born October 9, 1927 in Corning, Iowa to Sam & Ethel Geary. It was in Iowa that he met & married his wife Wilma.

He went on to serve in the Army doing a tour in Korea, after which he came to Odessa to work in the oilfield. After several years running casing, he started M&M Sprinkler which he owned and operated for the past 38 years.

A big man in both size and personality, his presence filled the room. He lived his life and business with honesty and fairness. He will be deeply missed.

He is preceded in death by his parents, wife, and infant son, as well as his brothers and sisters.

His memory will live on with his surviving sister, Bonnie Glines; his many nieces, nephews, and many friends.

The family would like to thank Carolyn Travis and Gloria Ramirez for their friendship which gave Ken such joy as well as Star Hospice for all their aid.

The family will receive friends on Monday, December 1, 2014 at Hubbard Kelly Funeral Home from 6-8pm. A Graveside service will be held on Tuesday, December 2, 2014 at 10 am at Sunset Memorial Gardens with Matt Wilson officiating.
