He was born December 26, 1922, in Marfa, TX to Juan Gonzales and Jesusita (Quintana) Pena. He retired from the Reeves County Independent School District.
He is preceded in death by his parents, three brothers and five sisters.
He is survived by his wife, Virginia Pena of Odessa, sons, Fidel Pena and wife Lucy and Joey Pena all of Odessa, six grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
A Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 28, 2012, at Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home
Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, February 29, 2012, at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Ector County/Los Angeles Cemetery.
