In Our Heavenly Kingdom and in the loving arms of Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ is to be found our beloved Husband, Father, Grandfather, Brother & Dear Friend Jose “Joe” N. Villanueva 80 of Odessa passed away Friday, April 26, 2013 at The Home Hospice House Facility here in Odessa. he was born November 5, 1932 in Kent, Texas to Pedro and Elisa Navarrette Villanueva. He is preceded in death by Parents: Pedro and Elisa Villanueva , son Joe Ray Villanueva, brothers; Pete N. Villanueva, Frank N.(Pancho) Villanueva, Thomas N. Villanueva, Enrique N. Villanueva, and sister Theresa N. Molinar. He is survived by his loving wife: Armida Luna Villanueva of Odessa, Sons: Jason Villanueva of Odessa, Fernando Hinojos(Mayela) of Odessa, Eddie Ybarra of Midland, Daughters; Elena Sue Hernandez of Waco, TX, Regina Serrano (Tony) of Carlsbad, NM. Brothers; Gilbert Villanueva of Alpine, Ismael Villanueva of Odessa Sister: Josefina Vasquez of Odessa; Grandchildren; Estefan, Xavier, Adrian, Tony, Sapphire, Crystal, Crystan, Joe Ray, Johnny, Eddie, Louie, Matthew, Felix, Angel, Alex, 9 great-grandchildren, and also a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends. We the family would like to take this time and express our utmost sincere gratitude to each and everyone of you for all your prayers, floral, food offerings, and especially your presence with us during this most difficult time May God Bless You All Abundantly.

Visitation will be held today, Sunday, April 28, 2013 from 6pm-9pm, Monday, April 29, 2013 from 8am-9pm with a Rosary being recited at 7pm at Odessa Funeral Home Chapel. Mass wil be celebrated at 2pm, Tuesday, April 30, 2013 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church with Rev. Joseph Uecker officiating. Interment to follow at Ector County Cemetery Peaceful Gardens Section. Pallbearers will be “Lito”Ralph Lopez, “Licha”Alicia C. Gonzales, Ector Lujan, Tommy Villanueva, Lee Vasquez, and Robert Vasquez.
