Joe "Jose" Ulate Martinez

Jose was employed with Fed Ex, Texas Refreshments, and Ameri Pride. Jose enjoyed carpentry and construction work and was an Usher at Holy Redeemer Church.

Jose is survived by; mother Hortensia Martinez; brother Freddy Martinez and sister Crissy Ramirez and husband Chendo; niece Jessica Payen, niece Julissa Payen and nephew J.R. Payen.

Jose was preceded in death by his father Joe F Martinez.

A visitation for Jose will be held Tuesday, July 24, 2018 from 9:00 am to 9:00 pm at Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home, 601 Alleghaney Ave, Odessa, Texas 79761. A rosary will take place at 7:00 pm on Tuesday, July 24, 2018 A funeral service will occur Wednesday, July 25, 2018 at 1:00 pm at St. Elizabeth's Catholic Church.

Serving as pallbearers are Paul Gutierrez, Salvador Rodriguez, JR Payen, Gordo-Arturo Ulate III, Oscar Ulate, Bernard Garcia, Ruben Rivas and Gilbert Fuentez.
