Jerry started life as #3 of 7 children in Big Spring, TX. He started working from an early age to better himself. He knew where he came from and knew he wanted something better for himself and his family. There was nothing he could not do once he set his mind to it – his determination to prosper was evident in his career and personal life. He knew what he wanted and working to achieve his dream was never an issue. When most people were buying, Jerry was building. He worked to learn all he could on any project he started – building his first house and making it a home. He loved working on cars and took up drag racing as a hobby for many years. He loved to go fishing with friends and family and fished in many of Texas’s lakes and rivers. He wanted to see more than West Texas and traveled from California to Florida and took cruises to see other places. Against all odds he was a self-made man and never stopped trying to achieve his goals. He was a great teacher and mentor to his family and many friends and he will be greatly missed.
Jerry is survived by his wife, Deborah Moore of Odessa; son, David Alex Moore and wife Michelle of Reklaw; brother, Roy C.
