Janie Lanelle Fletcher

Janie was born in San Angelo, Texas, to Billie Lee and Mary Jane Roberts. She graduated from Sonora High School, class of 1968. Janie married Billy Randall "Randy" Fletcher on March 19, 1971.

She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. In her younger years she enjoyed her bowling league play at Sherwood Lanes, where she was always the first to arrive and the last to leave. She also much enjoyed her casino trips and usually didn't come home empty handed. She spent many years operating a daycare in her home and various other jobs that she could perform from her favorite place, home.

Those left to mourn Janie's passing include her devoted husband of fifty-three years, Randy:

One brother, Monte of Christoval: Two sons, Kevin of Odessa, Mickey and wife Alicia of Odessa: Four grandchildren, Ana, Brice, Lucas, and Mason, all of Odessa: One great-granddaughter, Elianna.

Janie is preceded in death by her mother, Mary Roberts: Her father, Billie L. Roberts: and two brothers, Dan and Dennis.

Services for Janie will be held Wednesday, January 3, at Odessa Funeral Home, 1700 N. Jackson, Odessa, Texas. Visitation at 12 noon, with memorial to follow, at 1:00pm.
