He is survived by his wife, Ofelia Cruz of Denver, CO; children, Jaime Cruz, Jr. and wife Blanca of Odessa, Jorge Cruz and wife Teresa of Ojinaga, MX, Ester Cruz and husband Juan Garcia of Denver, CO, Javier Cruz and wife Rebecca of San Antonio, and Moises Cruz of Denver, CO; siblings, Pedro Cruz, Maria Elena del Moral, Jesus Manuel Cruz, Esiquia Cruz, Rene Cruz, Aracely Cruz, Laura Cruz, Maricela Cruz, Nora Cruz, and Nivia Cruz; and 19 grandchildren.
The family will receive friends for visitation on Tuesday, September 1, 2020 from 5-9 PM at Odessa Funeral Home. The Rosary will be recited at 7 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, September 2, 2020 at 2 PM at St. Anthony Catholic Church followed by burial at the Odessa II section of Ector County Cemetery.
