Jackson Lee Babb

Jackson Lee Babb, 88, of Odessa, passed away Sunday, March 3, 2013 at Midland Memorial Hospital. He was born May 19, 1924 in Rocksprings, TX. He was an U. S. Air Force veteran during WWII. He received his BS degree from Texas Tech. He was owner of B & B Chemical Inc.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Louie & Lolita Babb, his wife, Gene Babb, brother, Garnett Babb, sister, Lyda Louise Glen, son-in-law, Martin Wayne Cox.

He is survived by his son, Bruce Babb & wife Terilynn of Odessa, his daughter, Paula Cox of San Antonio, (5) grandchildren, Robert Jackson Babb, Jason Tyler Babb, Caroline Gillian Babb, Troy Dylan Cox & Georgia Cox Smith, (2) great-grandchildren, Jackson Gilmer Cox & Ava Rae Cox.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, March 6, 2013 at Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jimmy Braswell officiating. Graveside services 11:00 a.m. Thursday, March 7, 2013 at the Rocksprings Cemetery in Rocksprings, TX with Rev. Albert Green officiating.

Pallbearers will be Alan Kelleher, Bobby Davis, Ray Pierson, Robert Jackson Babb, Jeff Hunter, Jason Tyler Babb & Dylan Cox.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Gilmer Library in Rocksprings, TX.
