Emelia was born in Ojinaga on May 29, 1955 to the late Meliton and Pomposa Galindo. She married Ismael Rodriguez on April 15,1979; they were married for 45 years.
Emelia is survived by her husband, Ismael, and their children, also brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews and extended family members.
She is preceded in death by her parents Meliton and Pomposa Galindo and her father and mother- in-law Valentine and Enedina Rodriguez.
The family of Emelia wishes to thank Baylor Scott & White All Saints ICU Unit for the love and care they provided for her.
A visitation for Emelia will be held at Odessa Funeral Home, 1700 N. Jackson Ave, Odessa, TX 79761,Sunday, September 29, 2024, starting at 11:00 AM with a Rosary Service starting at 7:00 PM. A Funeral Mass will be at 10:00 AM, Monday, September 30, 2024 at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, with the Committal and Burial Service to follow at Sunset Memorial Park.
