Elder Reginol McCarty

He was born May 3, 1928 to Allen and Mary McCarty in Anson, Texas. He married Betty Jo Woody on July 26, 1946. He was a member of Eisenhower Church of Christ.

After serving in the US Army, Elder had a successful career spanning 36 years with the Texas Department of Transportation. He retired from the state in 1990.

Elder always said he was "lucky to find & marry two jewels in his life" after marrying Glenna Callendar on August 19, 2010.

Elder was a devout Christian man with a kind heart and was much loved by all.

Elder is proceeded in death by his 1st wife, Betty, his parents and siblings. Survivors include his wife, Glenna Callendar-McCarty of Odessa, sister-in-law Billie Jean Henderson of Hawley, TX, and many nieces & nephews.

Visitation will be from 6:00pm to 8:00pm Sunday, July 2, at Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home in Odessa. Services will be held at 10am on Monday, July 3, at Eisenhower Church of Christ. Burial will be at 3:00pm, Monday, July 3 at Mount Hope Cemetery in Anson, Texas.
