Earl Morgan Fortner, 89, of Odessa passed away Monday, January 6, 2014 at Medical Center Hospital. He was born July 18 1924 in Brown County, Texas to Roe & Emma Fortner. He was a retired pipeline welder. He served in the U.S. Navy during WWII.
He is preceded in death by his parents, & sister, Donzella Smithson. He is survived by his wife, Billie Fortner of Odessa, son, Don Fortner & wife Cindy of Odessa, daughter, Shan Cox & husband Cary, & (3) great-grandsons, Jackson, Wyatt, & Anson.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 Wednesday, January 8, 2014 at Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Larry Hood officiating. Interment will follow at Ector County Cemetery.
