Doyle Bert Morgan

Doyle Bert Morgan, age 90, passed away Friday, April 6, 2012 at Sam Rayburn Memorial Veterans Center in Bonham Texas.

He was born January 21, 1922 to John Daniel and Frances D. (Allen) Morgan in Miles, TX. He served in the US Army during World War II. He was a POW. During his military career he was awarded the American Theater Good Conduct Medal, European African Middle Eastern Service Medal and a Victory Metal. He retired from Phillips Petroleum in 1985. He was a long time resident of Odessa Texas.

He is preceded in death by his parents and his wife Mary Dell Morgan.

He is survived by his son Jim Morgan of McKinney, Texas,(3 ) grandchildren and (7) great-grandchildren.

The family visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00pm on Tuesday, April 10th, 2012 at Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.

The funeral services will be held at 10:00 am on Wednesday, April 11, 2012 at First Assembly of God Church with Rev. Dalton Froman officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.

Services are entrusted to Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home Odessa, Texas.
