Dorothy J. Brooks

Dorothy J. Brooks Passed away Friday, January 13, 2017 Dorothy was born on August 30, 1922. She lived her entire life in Odessa, Texas. She was a member of Saint Barnabas Episcopal Church. She married William E. Brooks Jr. on May 15, 1941. She is preceded in death by her husband, William E. Brooks Jr., son, William E. Brooks III, sister, Phyllis Ireland and daughter-in-law, Patty Brooks. Dorothy is survived by her daughter, Debbie Clyburn and her husband Wes and their daughters, Cristi Clyburn and Emily Young and husband Brad. She is also survived by her son, Mike Brooks and wife, Wanda , their daughter, Jill Mckee and husband, Powell , son, Buddy Brooks and wife, Susan, her grandson, Todd Brooks and his wife, Keri. Her great grandchildren are Molly Brooks, Baylee Miller & husband Michael, Braydon Brooks, Chloe Young, Cole Young, Dillion Digby and one great great grandchild, Kynlii.

We the Family would like to say a special thanks to Lilian Short and Rufina Choque for taking such good care of Dorothy. In lieu of flowers Dorothy supported Saint Jude’s Children’s Hospital and Home Hospice. A Memorial Service will be Friday January 20, 2017 at 2:00 pm. at St. Barnabas Episcopal Church. Services entrusted to Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.
