She was a homemaker. She married Cecil Parsons June 12, 1941 in Great Bend, Kansas.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Cecil Parsons, sister, Dorothy Doyle and brother, George B. Lauderdale Jr.
She is survived by her daughter, Linda Scott and husband Ken of Odessa, five grandchildren, Brad Hinesly, Barrett Hinesly and family, Allison Creech and family, Mickey Scott and family, Becky Byrom and family, and eight great-grandchildren. Doris is also survived by sisters, Elouise Laster, Panorama City, CA, and Bobbie Taylor, Houston, TX., several nieces and a nephew.
Visitation will be from 6-8pm Thursday, February 21, 2013 at Frank W. Wilson Funeral Directors.
Graveside services will be 4:30pm Friday, February 22, 2013 at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
