Donald Hugh Webb

Donald (Don) Hugh Webb 81 years of age passed away Thursday May 18th 2017in the comfort of his own home. Surrounded by those who most loved him. Don was born on the 12th of June 1935 in Beaumont, Texas to the late Edward Joseph Webb and Altha Brown Webb. He was one of 5 Children three have preceded him in death. He served in the Navy from 1958 to 1962, as a Destroyer Escort on the 231ss Renshaw. He Met and married Janie Janell Carmen in 1962 and together they had three children . Don was a busy body and was known for his love of singing, drawing and playing beautiful music with the guitar, harmonica, and piano all of which he taught himself how to play. He loved working with his tools and could build anything from scratch. However, his all time favorite thing to do was go fishing . In fact, one of his most used and well known sayings was "well you can go fishing , but I'm going catchin."He loved to be outdoors and on the water more than any thing. Don is preceded in death by his parents Edward And Altha Webb. His brothers Gregory Lee Webb and Edward Joseph Webb, a sister Patricia Fay Dewitt. His wife Janie Carman Webb and a grand daughter Rachel Deaon Wagner. He is survived by a sister Sarah Della Duhon of West Lake Louisiana, two daughters Tammy Wagner(Roger,) Connie Price (Rick) of Gardendale, Texas, a son Troy Webb (Stacie) of Odessa, Texas as well a numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and nieces and nephew all whom adored him. Pallbearers include Jeremy Wagner, Casey Price, West Huggins, Mark Tarango, Jeff Carman, and Shane Dickerson. Visitation will be held on Sunday May 21, 2017 from 6PM until 8PM at Odessa Funeral Chapel. Services will be Monday may22, 2017 at 11Am at Odessa Funeral Chapel. Followed by a graveside burial at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Odessa, Texas.
