David C. Melton

He was born June 18, 1930 to Aaron Vester and Ella Altom Melton in Newark, Arkansas.

He served in the Air Force as an Exterior Electrician. He was a barber for over 50 years

and his patrons said he was the best Barber in town.

He supported auto racing and Judo. David was a beloved husband and father.

He enjoyed dancing and he was much loved and will be missed. David was a man who was a lot of fun.

He was preceded in death by his parents, first wife Suella, four sisters and four brothers.

He is survived by his wife Nancy, son, Joel Melton of Odessa, daughter, Pamela Melton of Sacramento, CA, many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Family will receive friends from 6-8pm Friday, May 22, 2015 at Frank W. Wilson Funeral Directors.

A graveside service will be 5pm Saturday, May 23, 2015 at Sunset Memorial Gardens with

Rev. Renee Phillips officiating.
