Christina L. Pool

Christina Lee Pool passed away peacefully at Hospice House in Odessa on April 13, 2011. She was born June 24, 1931 in Seminole, Oklahoma to Roy and Christine Guthrie. She married Bill Pool on August 18, 1947 in Sweetwater, Texas. She was a vivacious, fun-loving granny with a contagious smile who was always positive, upbeat and she lived for her children and grandchildren. She was an avid golfer and volunteered at the hospital and Meals on Wheels.

She will greatly be missed by her family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband Bill, and sisters, Roy Lou Guthrie and and Mae Simmons. She is survived by sisters Vera Milstead and Bonnie Varner, son, Bryce Pool of Colleyville and wife Jo, daughters, Carolyn Gray and husband Lynn of Hillsboro, Beth Cobb and husband Teddy of Odessa, grandchildren, Christi Pevehouse, Chad Gray, Cody Cobb, Sadie Dominey, Cory Cobb, Christina Cobb, Allison Booth, and Anna Pool, great-grandchildren, Madison, Morgan, Brett, Lexie, Matthew, Dawson, Macie, Laney, Ella, Jake and McKenna.

Visitation with the family will be held Friday April 15, 2011 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.

Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, April 16, 2011 at Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home with Rev. Johnny Thomason officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset memorial Gardens In lieu of flowers, memorials may be donated to Home Hospice.

Services are entrusted to Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.
