Chris Eric Garcia

Chris was born June 3, 2011, to Eric and Marina Garcia. He was the best big brother to two siblings, with family often referring to them as the Three Musketeers. Chris' cousins loved having him around, and would take him everywhere they were allowed.

He was an excellent friend and would help everyone, sometimes getting in trouble for helping too much! Chris was an avid gamer, especially enjoying Minecraft, Fortnite and Outlast. He loved to watch wrestling and then practice moves with his brother. He had mastered the 3x3 Rubik's cube and was working on the 4x4. Chris would even ask his sister to mix up the cube to create an extra challenge. He just finished watching all the Godzilla movies in preparation to see the new one.

Chris lit up every room he entered. He was funny, compassionate and caring. He loved math and was a member of Leadership Club. Chris will not only live in the hearts and memories of his family and friends, but he will live on through organ donation, saving four other lives.

He was greeted in heaven by his grandfather, Jaime Olvera Garcia, aunt, Valerie Garcia, and cousin, Alyssa Flores Garcia.

Chris is survived by his parents, Eric and Marina; siblings, Adam and Anayeli; grandparents, Maria Arteaga, Joe Munoz, Minnie Garcia; great grandparents, Marina & Rodolpho Herrera, Delma Longoria, Jose Munoz Sr.; 8 aunts and uncles, many cousins, and countless extended family and friends.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, April 24, 2024, and Thursday, April 25, 2024 both days from 9:00 am to 7:00 pm at Hubbard Kelly Funeral Home, located at 601 N Alleghaney Ave, Odessa, TX 79761. A celebration of life will be Friday, April 26, 2024 at 10:00 am, also at Hubbard Kelly Funeral Home with committal service to follow at Ector County Cemetery, 300 S. DIxie Blvd., Odessa.

Serving as pallbearers will be Eric Garcia, Adam Garcia, Jaime Garcia, David Garcia, Roman Diaz, Adrian Herrera and Isidro Sanchez.
