Billy Don Bannister

Billy D. Bannister, 77, of Odessa passed away Sunday, August 29, 2010 at his residence. He was born September 15, 1932 in Parks, TX to H. H. & Alivia (Brannon) Bannister. He was a U. S. Army veteran of the Korean Conflict. He married Billie Edgar Davis in 1982. He worked as a millwright for 30 years. He was a member of the American Legion, V.F. W., ELKS and Mission Dorado Baptist Church.

He was a loving Father, devoted Husband and steadfast Friend.

He is survived by his wife, Billie Bannister of Odessa, daughters, Debra Hernandez of Odessa, Sharon Moon of Topeka, KS, sister, Wanda Swafford of Odessa, (5) grandchildren, several great-grandchildren.

There will be a visitation from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday September 1, 2010 at Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, September 2, 2010 at Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Bob Bratcher officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
