She was born August 2, 1935 to Terry Cecil and Ida Mae Culpepper in Sundown, Texas. She was a longtime resident of Odessa and she was a Baptist.
She is survived by sons, Kenneth Sykes of Midland, Richard Sykes of Hawkins, TX, Larry Sykes of Friendwood, TX and Steven Sykes of Midland, sister, Dolores Davis, four grandchildren, Christopher, Olivia, Erika and Shay.
Family will receive friends Wednesday, March 11, 2015 from 6-8pm at Hubbard Kelly Funeral Home.
Funeral service will be Thursday, March 12, 2015 at 2pm at Hubbard Kelly Chapel with Larry Hood officiating.
Interment will follow at Ector County Cemetery.
Services are entrusted to Hubbard Kelly Funeral Home.
