Antonia Alvarado

Toni was born on November 23, 1928 in Macdona, Texas to Rodolfo Ritz II and Francisca Ceballos Ritz. She was the second oldest of 15 children.

Toni married Gregorio S. Alvarado on August 8, 1957 in Roswell, New Mexico, and settled in Odessa that same year. Toni was a proud member of Life Change Baptist Church. She was also active in community events at Desert Haven and loved spending time with her friends, family and traveling.

Toni is survived by her daughters Judy, Gloria, Sandra (John) and Brenda; grandchildren Larry, Christopher (Jennifer), Kayla (Elvis), Ana (Russell), Veronica, Sonja (Tony), Krystal (Courtney), Stephany (Eddie), Kasey, and Brandon; 18 great-grandchildren; sisters Carmen, Mary, and Lola; brothers Alfred (Lina), Joe (Dolores), Felipe (Lourdes), Meliton, Luis and Gilbert (Belinda); and numerous nieces and nephews.

Toni was preceded in death by her husband, Gregorio; father, Rodolfo; mother, Francisca; brothers, Pascual, Rudy, and Jose; sisters, Anita and Antonia.

In honor of her life, a viewing will be held Sunday, March 21, 2021 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home. Memorial service will be held Monday, March 22, 2021 at 10 a.m. at Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home. Burial to follow at Rose Hill Cemetery.
