Rose Marie Rocke

Rose Marie Rocke, age 65, of South Pasadena, California passed away on Saturday, October 21, 2023. Rose was born in Pasadena hospital to Elsie Lants on 12 Sep 1958. She shared stories of how her big sister Donna Lants would care for her and made her feel safe in her earliest of memories. By age 13 she was foster/adopted by Mozzelle and Eddie White or "Mom and Popeye". She was provided a safe and loving family and raised with Eric and Nichelle Stinnett, her brother and sister their relationship was just that of love, support, disagreements and forgiveness. She often shared stories, of running through the house chasing after each other and of family game nights at the big table.

Mom and Popeye provided a safe loving home for Rose attended and graduated from Crenshaw High School in South Central Los Angeles. She enjoyed classes like dance and photography.

Eventually, Rose found her calling in health care. She completed courses to be an CNA. She primarily provided elderly and hospice care as well as caring for children for the last 7 years of her life.

Rose was proceeded in death by her mother Elsie Lantz, adopted parents Mozelle, Eddie White and Nephew Jamie Rules.

Rose Leaves behind her son Shurland (Luz) Rocke and daughter Mavora (Quan) Venzant, her three grand children Issayah, Mehki and Marilyn as well as her Sisters Donna (Jay), Nichelle, and brother Eric. Her nieces Jenny, Star, and Brittany. as well as her extended family and friends.
