Today, we gather to honor the life of Ramon Santos Aguon, a man whose spirit touched us all. Born on June 17, 1943, Ramon’s journey began in the tranquil beauty of Pagan and blossomed in the vibrant community of Saipan. He was the beloved son of Antonio and Rosa Santa Maria.
For the past fifty years, Ramon called Oceanside, California his home—a place where he built a legacy of warmth, kindness, and unwavering devotion. His life was beautifully intertwined with his soulmate, Elvie Aguon. Together, they shared thirty-nine years of love, laughter, and countless memories that will forever echo in our hearts.
Ramon's family was his pride and joy. He was a devoted brother to his two sisters and five brothers, and he shared a special bond with his remaining brother, Santiago. His love extended to his children: Rosinda Aguon Balignasay, Allan Aguon, and Anthony Aguon. Each one carries a piece of Ramon’s gentle spirit and profound wisdom.
As we remember Ramon, let us celebrate his life, his enduring love for his family, and his unwavering spirit. Though he may no longer walk among us, his legacy lives on in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know him.
Rest in peace, Ramon Santos Aguon. You will be dearly missed but never forgotten.
