Paul P. Folia

Beloved husband of Veronica for 54 years. Dear father to Paul, Robert (Madeleine), Edward (Danett), Roman (Nancy), Richard (Jill), and thirteen grandchildren. Paul was the ninth in a family of twelve children. He has many cherished nephews and nieces that he loved.

He was preceded in death by his parents Aurel and Maria Folia, and siblings Traian, Ilia, Mike, John, Millie, Ana. He is survived by his siblings George, Steve, Florence, Peter, and Tiberiu.

Paul was born in Vrsac, Yugoslavia on February 13, 1945. During his youth, he enjoyed spending time in his father's shop helping to make wicker furniture. In 1965, he left his home country and immigrated to California to join the rest of his family. On December 1, 1968, he married his wife Veronica Pentsa, and the two settled in the Los Angeles area where they raised five sons together who gave them 13 beautiful grandchildren: Anthony, Jacob, Andrew, Nicole, Audrey, Esme, Ryan, Adam, Eliana, Tavie, Abigail, Charlotte, and Rebecca. His hard work and determination led him into the aerospace industry, where he spent 32 years at Northrop Grumman until retiring at the age of 55.

He loved the Lord with all his heart and shared that love with others. His goal in life was to glorify God. He opened his heart and home to many visitors and friends from far and near. He was loved by all who knew him. Faithfully following Christ for 56 years brought him a tremendous amount of joy. His five sons learned from him how to be men of integrity as he lived out his life honoring God, his wife, and his family, by providing a safe and secure home through his diligent work. Though our hearts ache as we will sorely miss his gentle laugh and smile in our daily lives, we rejoice knowing he is in the presence of God in heaven.
