Margaret Mary Marino completed her life journey and went to meet her Lord on April 2, 2014. She was a loyal, dedicated and loving wife, mother, aunt and grandmother who was married for 62 years. She was born Margaret Mary Ode on June 17, 1916 in Grafton, ND. She is survived by husband Roy Marino and her 3 sons Joseph, James and John. She could boast of 3 grand children, 3 step grand children, 4 great grand children and 4 step great grand children. At the age of 65, she decided to complete studies for her High School Diploma which she received. During her lifetime her interests included water color painting, crocheting and cake decorating. She had lived in San Diego County for 57 years and attended St. John's Catholic Church in Encinitas, St. Margaret' s in Oceanside and at her time of passing St. Patrick's in Carlsbad. Visitation will be Wednesday between 4 – 8 PM at Eternal Hills. Funeral Service will be at the Chapel at Eternal Hills at 1 PM Thursday. A reception will be held on the second floor of Building B of 1094 Laguna Dr (Las Villes de Carlsbad), Carlsbad between 3 – 4:30 PM. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Research in her name.
