Leah Perry, 98, of Thousand Oaks, CA passed away November 1, 2015 after a two- month battle with a debilitating illness. She was born in Lincoln, Nebraska January 23, 1917. She lived in Wisconsin until 1946 when she moved to California with her now deceased husband, Charles A. Perry. During their 59 year marriage they lived in Van Nuys, Escondido, Oceanside and Thousand Oaks. During WWII, she worked as a milling machine operator. She also worked as a switchboard operator and a waitress. Leah is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law Nancy and Chuck Turnage and JoAnn and Frank Ferkovich; and son and daughter-in-law Robert and Debra Perry; five grandchildren Bruce, Carolyn, Richard, James and Rachel; 8 great grandchildren; and four great great grandchildren.
Viewing is scheduled for 9 a.m. and funeral service at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, November 9, 2015 at Eternal Hills Mortuary in Oceanside, CA.
