Joseph Adam Massaro was born June 6, 1936 in New Haven, CT. He moved to California when he was young and enjoyed growing up in El Monte, CA. He worked for Southern California Edison for over 30 years and retired from there to live his dream of having a boat. He enjoyed his retirement and spent his time with his granddaughter Kylie. He had a love for boats, his Camaro, and helping animals. He spent his last 15 years living on his boat in the Oceanside Harbor where he was happiest lying in the sun. He was proud of his children Jody French, Deana Kuhlman, Joe Massaro Jr., and Kristin Massaro. He enjoyed his grandchildren John Rethmeier, Mike Haffner, Daniel Haffner, Kylie Massaro, and Justin Jenkins.
