He is survived by his wife, Bertha Alicia Pantoja de Lara, son, Jose Antonio Lara Pantoja, daughter, Yesenia Lara, family, relatives, and friends.

A Viewing will be held on Tuesday, January 8, 2019 from 4pm - 8pm at Eternal Hills Mortuary Chapel in Oceanside, California.

A Mass will be held on Wednesday, January 9, 2019 at 12pm at St. Mary Star of the Sea in Oceanside, California.

A Burial will be held after the Mass at Eternal Hills Memorial Park in Oceanside, California.
