He was preceded in death by his father, Ira Black and mother, Carrie Mae Tabor-Black.
Ira is survived by his wife, Bobbier Powell Black, son, David Black, daughter, Caryn Black, granddaughter, Deseree Black, granddaughter, Patricia McCormick, granddaughter, Deborah Black, grandson, Derek Black, granddaughter, Shakari Gierat, great-grandson, KáMaree Gierat, and great-grandson, Joshua Black, family, relatives, and friends.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 17, 2015 from 4pm to 8pm at Eternal Hills Mortuary Chapel in Oceanside, California.
A Celebration of Life service will be held on Wednesday, February 18, 2015 at 10am at Eternal Hills Mortuary Chapel in Oceanside, California
Mr. Black's final resting place will be at Miramar National Cemetery in San Diego, California.
