Gloria Leticia Callender

It is with the heaviest and saddest of hearts The Callender Family informs you of the passing of Gloria Callender. She was an exceptional person in every way imaginable and possible. There are not enough words to convey who she was as we remember her sense of fashion and flare, courage, determination and intelligence.

Gloria Callender, 65, died May 19, 2018 at her home in Oceanside, California. A day which will be forever be engraved within us. Her unconditional ways of loving and supporting us as a family will be eternally remembered as we mourn her death.

Her Celebration of Life service will be held Thursday, June 7th at Eternal Hills Funeral Home. Minister Ken Nelson will be officiating. Viewing will be held between 8:00 a.m. - 10:00 a.m. at Eternal Hills Funeral Home followed by an interment at 11:00 a.m. at the same location.

Gloria was married to Angel Callender for almost 50 years and they had 6 children and 8 grandchildren.

She was a wife, a life long partner, a mother, a best friend and friend to many. We are proud as a family to have had the opportunity to have known such a dynamic person who has and continuous to touch us all.

She is survived by her husband, Angel Callender and 6 children, Angel Jr., Linda, Arcelys, Candy, Melvin, Allen and their grandchildren.
