To my Big Brother, Gino,
     I remember growing up and all the great things you did for me. You gave me my first bike, which you won for selling newspaper subscriptions.  You taught me how to drive and even some times borrowed me your car.  When I started my first checking account, you helped me.  You were very experienced in the vending business and when I decided to try vending, you helped me find a job.
     After Linda and I were married, we would get together often and were so proud and excited when you and Fran asked us to be Gina's Godparents.
     As our brothers and sister married, our large family grew even larger with each having their own families,making it difficult to get everyone in one place at the same time, especially since you had moved to California, so many miles away.  The last joyous occasion of being together was our Mom's 90th birthday at Neil and Mary Ann's.  Everyone was so glad to see you at the party.  
    I will always be thankful for all the help you gave me growing up in such a large family.  Due to my health with one lung, I am so sorry that I was unable to be there in California to say our last Good Bye.
May God put his arms around you and bring you into eternal life, where there is no more pain or suffering

Dear brother gino. best brother ever.  I still can't believe that you past on.I will miss the telephone calls also.your son and daughters were great at helping sandy and myself when we would brake down I bet mom would keep pushing you back and saying that things are ok there and you should stay longer, that it is not time for you to pass on. you were and are one of my best brothers ever. God Has taken my brother Gino to an early rebirth,His family,friends will miss him, as will I. His place here on earth has been filled, but never forgotten. Cousin Gino, I will never forget you coming to the farm in Kangley and seeing you and your brothers driving the tractors and drinking well water and wondering why it tasted so awful.Loved you then and still do now. Your family has my deepest sympathy.

My big brother Gino,
I wanted you to know how much I love you and how much all of us looked up to you for help and advice as we were growing up. I am going to miss that beautiful smile and your quick wit, always a joke and always a smile.I can just see Mom's face when see saw you join her, she said, "my Gino" she loved you so much. I also know that Michael and Tina were glad to see you but wonder why you were there so soon. You will be so missed by Fran, the kids and grandkids, also Taz. Wondering what and who you are selling to in heaven.Do they have alarms in heaven?  Rest well my big brother. Love you so, Donna

Gino set the "bench mark" when it came to selling alarm systems. We were friendly competitors, and even worked on the same team at one time. He was a great "warrior" and "champion" in the indusrty , that lead by example. It was his goal of making a 100 contacts a day, and the love of people. He would tell me"just let me get in front of the guy" and I will sell him. 

I asked him how he did so well selling in a Latino market ? He said if you think about it, the name "Dal Cerro" could go either way, so to his benefit, he would make it work. In addition he had a few bilingual friends, who he could call up and help him with the sale.

Most importantley beside leading by example, he had printed on the back of his card "Find a job you love, and you will never work another day in your life".I pass this advice along where ever I go.

My success in the alarm industry is largely attriputed to Gino's  style and work ethic . 
My sincere condolences and blessings for his family.

Dear Grandpa,
we all miss your humor,laugh,love,and friendship.You were the best grandpa a kid could have.Tazzy misses you so much that he is saying a prayer every night.

Gino was a good friend of 24 years, he was an Icon in the Alarm Industry. 
Gino set the bar in sales he worked hard and he loved it. A man does not work that hard for bread alone, he loved his wife and family and it showed. Fran, Gina,Cheri,Karen and Richard and families, my deepest sympathies for your loss  He was a good man I will miss him.
