Friend and Colleague
Words fall short to express the passing of such a familiar presence in the financial community. Although his passing was unexpected the lessons shared, the examples given, and the life lived will continue to fill the void of his absents. All life has meaning, and his life meant so much to so many. With a weighted heart you will be missed.

Today my heart is heavy.  Another link from our family will be missing.  Rest in Heaven Gerald.  You were a true solider of dedication to your country.  I will always remember you and the best of times that we shared together growing up as teenagers in Florida.  I will cherish the memories forever knowing you as a very smart, wise, and neat person.  Not to mention handsome and a very well dressed person at all times.  I have always admired you and established some of your qualities in my life. I was in complete shock when I heard the news of your passing. I wish I was able to have one more conversation with you. It was a pleasure knowing you and working with you. You impacted so many peoples lives, incluiding mine.  Thank you for investing in the lives of others and passing along all your wisdom. I will forever treasure our friendship.

The loss of Gerald has been extremely difficult for us all, Gerald was always such a calming and caring person that loved helping others. I always loved our conversations about New York and our memories from serving together on active duty. Gerald, you have impacted so many people in a positive manner and we will forever have a special place in our hearts for you. May you rest in eternal peace.

I was shocked and saddened to hear of Gerald's passing.  I worked with him on Base for many years and always thought so highly of him. He was such a kind, elegant and caring gentleman to all of those that he came into contact with.  He will be missed terribly.
