Florencio "Indio" C. Cortez

He is preceded by his wife: Agustina T. Cortez; His son Jose Guadalupe Cortez, and Grandson John J. Murillo.

He is survived by daughters: Rosa Cortez, Silvia Bierner (Ronnie), Mini Deleon (Frank), Judy Cortez. Sons: Guadalupe "Lenchito" Cortez, Ernie Cortez (Melissa). Grandchildren: Mike Meraz (Aurora), Adrian Meraz (Joy), Myrna Acosta (John David), Ruby Ortiz, Frankie Deleon (Krysta), Mandy Cortez, Johnathan Murillo (Laura), Vanessa Cortez (Kai), Ernie Cortez Jr., Marissa Cortez (Jade), Serena Cortez, Jacob Cortez. Great-grandchildren: Danny and Mikah Meraz; Alejandro A. Ceja, Mia Acosta, David Acosta; Monica Rendon (Andy), Manuel Vasquez, Anthony Vasquez; Adelynn and Aidyn Deleon; Damian, Naomi, Daisy, and Lilyana Rose Murillo; Isaiah Cortez, Laila and Kaeanu Loque. Great-great-granddaughter Athena Silvia Leon.

A celebration of life will occur Saturday, August 4, 2018 at 1:00 PM at Eternal HIlls Mortuary Chapel, 1999 El Camino Real, Oceanside, California 92054. A burial will occur Saturday, August 4, 2018 at 2:30 PM at Eternal Hills Memorial Park, 1999 El Camino Real, Oceanside, California 92054.
