Edward Paul Andert was born to Paul and Mary Andert in St. Louis, Missouri on the 27th of December, 1932. He was raised in a Catholic household with his sister Marie and brother Donald. He was married in 1951 and had 5 surviving children: Glenn, Gregory, Edward Jr., Anne and Laura.
He joined the US Navy in 1954 and served as a radar operator aboard the USS Essex in the Korean War. Edward worked in Aerospace and had a 33 year career at Hughes Aircraft Company. He enjoyed jogging and ran many marathons starting at age 65. Edward also owned 2 RV’s and traveled all over the country.
Edward devoted his life to his family and was survived by his 9 grandchildren: Nicole, Brianna, Edward III, Mitchell, Casey, Ashley, Taylor, Olivia and Ruby. He succumbed to cancer just short of age 86 on November 10th 2018.
