Earl “David” Foster was born April 10, 1950 in Winnipeg, Canada to Max and Rose (Levine) Foster. He and his family came to the Unites States and settled in Phoenix, Arizona. David became a citizen of the United States on January 15, 1962. He lived in Arizona with his parents and three siblings until he graduated from high school. After high school, he furthered his education by attending and graduating from the University of California (USC). He was a proud USC Trojan. He especially loved their football program. He met and married Karen. From this marriage, two children were born, Brian and Andi Foster. This marriage ended and he found solace in his work first in the pharmaceutical industry and then in the bio tech world. Not long afterward, he met and married Bonita. He and Bonita shared 35 wonderful years together. Besides a strong interest in medicine and medical data, David had many varied outside interests. One being his love of cars. He owned numerous cars and trucks old and new, boats, forklifts, bikes, and scooters. He also collected model cars. He had a love of movies old and new and could remember lines of movies as well as who the actors were no matter how old the movies or actors were. His love of the 60’s - early 70’s music continued throughout his lifetime. He had numerous dogs during his lifetime, but it wasn’t until he met a polish Lowland Sheepdog that, to him, there was no other dog. He would stop to talk to anyone and everyone and talk about anything and everything. He always made his presence known through a compliment, joke, or story. He usually ended the day with a murder mystery in his hands and his Polish Lowland next to him.
