Candelaria Margarita Flores

Candelaria Margarita Pérez Palacios nació en Febrero 2, 1944 en San Francisco Mixtla, Puebla, México. Candelaria creció en Puebla,se caso a los 20 aňos con Gumaro Flores Sanchezy se movio a hasta la edad de 29 años a Tijuana BC. Más tarde en el año 1985 se movería a San Marcos, California en busca de una major vida.

Candelaria de raíces sencillas y humildes fue una vibrante,tenaz, energética y determinada madre, abuela y bisabuela. Gozaba de alma viajera y siempre estaba viajando de un pais a otro y habitando en una de sus multiples casas en Puebla y California. Ella le gustava viajar. Visito lugares como Nueva York, Boston, New Jersey, Arizona, Maryland, Rhode Island, Connecticut, Washington,D.C,Las Vegas, Nicaragua, El Salvador, Cancún, San Luis Rio Colorado, Mexicali, Ciudad de México DF y gozo de visitar la Basílica de la virgen de Guadalupe 2 veces. Su fe y devoción a la virgen fue escencial para ella, ya que siempre se agarraba de la mano de Dios para sobrepasar todos los desafíos de la vida, cualidad de fe heredada a sus hijos.

Las cualidades de Candelaria fueron muchas incluyendo determinación, tenacidad, generosa, valiente y muy resiliente. Candelaria encontró su tercer hogar en Nemo’s Bakery de Escondido, California en donde trabajo por muchas incansables noches durante 26 años para sacar adelante a sus hijos. En Nemo’s subió la escalera corporative hasta ser supervisora. Candelaria valoro la dedicación al arduo trabajo y esta característica entre otras es su legado a su hijo e hijas. Todos valoramos su generosidad de compartir las dulces delicadezas que ella horneaba con un ingrediente especial, amor. También gozamos de innumerables platillos con su sazón excepcional y sus tortillas de harina echas a mano.

Durante sus años de retiro Candelaria se pasaba hora cuidando de el Jardin. Le encantaba mirar las flores en sonreia al mirar las mariposas y colibris.

Candelaria pasó horas leyendo la Biblia aprendiendo de la vida de Jesús y de los Apóstoles. Su fe fue fundamental para su vida y continuó creciendo esta fe hasta los últimos años de su vida. Vivió su vida en paz y disfrutó de cada momento de la vida. Era una madre amorosa pero firme, ejemplificada por la continua disciplina a sus hijos y nietos incluso hasta sus edad adulta.

Candelaria deja muchos momentos hermosos y recuerdos en la vida de los que ella tocó. Ella fue un héroe para muchos y una inspiración para los demás a través de la forma en que superó los desafíos de la vida.

La sobreviven sus hijos: Tomas Flores, Irma Bustamante y esposo, Yolanda Gonzalez y esposo, María González y esposo, Leticia Flores, Lilia Flores y esposo, Mauro y esposa. Sus hermanos: Arcadio Pérez, Refugio Tamayo, Juan Pérez y esposa. Sus nietos: Francisco, Ricardo, Domingo Jr, Tomas Jr, Lisette, José Ángel, Jessica, Juan Carlos, Víctor Manuel, Rafael, Luis Javier y esposa, Leo Isaiah, Joel, Noé y Sara. Sus Bisnietos: Raymond Aiden,Tristian Aiden, Ace Gambino, Alonzo Remi, Mia Nevaeh, y la nueva integrante que esta por nacer Kate Bellatrix. Cuñados: Daniel y esposa, Leocadio y esposa, Luisa y esposo, Isabel y esposo. También varios primos y primas, sobrinos y sobrinas y otros muy estimados miembros de la familia, amigos y conocidos.

Candelaria Margarita Pérez Palacios was born on February 2, 1944 in San Francisco Mixtla, Puebla, Mexico. Candelaria grew up in Puebla, married at twenty with Gumaro Sanchez, and at the age of twenty-nine moved with her six children to Tijuana BC. In 1985 she and her children moved to San Marcos, California in search of a better life.

Candelaria, with simple and humble roots, was a vibrant, tenacious, energetic mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She enjoyed traveling lightly to her two homes in Puebla and California. She loved to travel and visited Arizona, Las Vegas, Washington D.C., Maryland, New Jersey, New York, Connecticut, Rhode Island, Boston, Mexicali, San Luis Rio Colorado, Cancun, Mexico City, Nicaragua, El Salvador and the Basilica of The Virgin of Guadalupe. Her faith and devotion to The Virgin was essential to her, she always relied on God to overcome all of life’s challenges, a quality she passed down to her children.

Candelaria was known for her determination, tenacity, generosity, courageousness, and resilience among many others noble qualities. Candelaria found her third home at Nemo's Bakery in Escondido, California where she worked many tireless nights for twenty-six years to provide for her family. At Nemo's she advanced her career to the role of supervisor. Candelaria valued a dedication to hard work and was among one of the chief legacies passed down to her children. She is fondly remembered by her giving spirit, exemplified through the baked goods she shared, all of which were made with love. She also shared her love through the giving of countless homemade dishes and handmade flour tortillas.

During retirement Candelaria spent countless hours taking care of her garden. She loved looking at flowers, and watching butterflies and hummingbirds brought a smile to her face.

Candelaria spent hours reading the Bible learning from the life of Jesus and the Apostles. Her faith was foundational to her life and she continued to grow this faith to the last years of her life. She lived her life at peace and enjoyed every moment of life. She was a loving but firm mother, exemplified by the continued disciplining of her children and grandchildren even into their adulthood.

Candelaria leaves many beautiful moments and memories in the lives of those she touched. She was a hero to many and an inspiration to others through the way she overcame life's challenges.

She is survived by her children: Tomas Flores, Irma Bustamante and husband, Yolanda Gonzalez and husband, María González and husband, Leticia Flores, Lilia Flores and husband, Mauro and wife. Her brothers: Arcadio Pérez, Refugio Tamayo, Juan Pérez and wife. Her grandchildren: Francisco, Ricardo, Domingo Jr, Tomas Jr, Lisette, José Angel, Jessica, Juan Carlos, Víctor Manuel, Rafael, Luis Javier and wife, Leo Isaiah, Joel, Noah and Sara. Her great-grandchildren: Raymond Aiden, Tristian Aiden, Ace Gambino, Alonzo Remi, Mia Nevaeh, and her newest granddaughter, unborn Kate Bellatrix. Brothers: Daniel and wife, Leocadio and wife, Luisa and husband, Isabel and husband. She is also survived by several cousins, nephews and nieces, and other highly esteemed family members, friends and acquaintances.
