He is survived by his wife, Joyce Elaine Gardner, daughter, Jeanette Dyckma, relatives, and many friends.

A funeral service will be held on Sunday, April 10, 2011 at 1:30 pm at Eternal Hills Memorial Chapel in Oceanside, California.
Mr. Gardner's final resting place will be Eternal Hills Memorial Park in Oceanside, California.
