Barbara Sue Severino, 66, Carlsbad, CA - Barbara Sue Severino passed away Tuesday, November 16, 2010 after a five year battle with cancer. She was born October 20, 1944 in Upland, California, daughter of Robert and Irma Moore. Barbara attended Upland High School, and remained in Upland until 1986 when she moved to San Diego County. Barbara was an avid sportswoman who was very competitive. Throughout her life she enjoyed playing many sports including softball, golf and bowling. Barbara also enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Barbara worked for Financial Dynamics for 11 years and then for Paychex for four years. Barbara finished her career at MacGregor/VanDeMoere and MacGregor and Associates until October 2009 when she retired. Barbara is preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Irma, as well as her brother, Robert "Buck" Moore. Barbara is survived by her husband, Ronald Severino, and her daughter, Lori Sperry, son-in-law, Brian and granddaughter, Sydney; daughter, Julie Kirkpatrick, son-in-law, Tom and grandchildren, Kelly, Brian and Steven; step daughter, Maria Roller, son-in-law, Kurt, granddaughters, Gabriella and Stella; step daughter, Anna Severino;, step daughter, Gina Severino; three sisters, Joanne Birks, Mary Haliburton and Dockie Humble, sister-in-laws, Joanne Severino and Rosemary Burr and her husband, Eugene; brother-in-law, Steve Severino and his wife, Barbara; sister-in-law, Patty Wayman and her husband, Jim; brother-in-law, James Severino and his wife, Dee; sister-in-law, Mary Severino; brother-in-law, Mark Severino and his wife, Chris; brother-in-law, Michael Severino and his wife, Kim; brother-in-law, John Severino (deceased) andhis wife, Carol. Viewing will be held November 22, 2010 at 7:00 pm and the funeral on November 23, 2010 at 9:30 am at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, 3821 Adams St., Carlsbad, CA 92008.
