Born on March 18, 1997, in Waco, Texas, Austin was the beloved son of Patricia A. Hernandez and the late Daniel Hernandez Jr. He was also a cherished brother to Isabella K. Fagerberg (and brother in-law, Omar E. Fagerberg), River J. Hernandez (and sister in-law, Marisol Rebollar), and Madelyn Benites. A loving grandson, uncle, nephew, cousin, and friend, Austin touched the lives of all who knew him.
Austin was known for his big heart, quick wit, his motorcycle, and his impressive poker skills. He never turned down a good party, especially with his best friend, Eric. His brother River and Eric will hold these cherished memories close for the rest of their lives. He was a wonderful attentive dog dad. He loved, spoiled and cherished his sweet dog, Khloe.
Austin had a deep love for California, where he enjoyed nightly beach walks with his mother, Trish. Together, they traveled and soaked in the beauty of the West Coast. His connection to the ocean and California’s breathtaking sights began at an early age and remained a source of joy throughout his life.
Austin adored being an uncle, treasuring the time spent with his nieces and nephews. His love and laughter were gifts to his family and friends, who will carry his memory forward.
Austin was predeceased by his father, Daniel Hernandez Jr. His spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of those who loved him.
Respecting Austin’s wishes, the family has chosen not to hold a funeral.
