Armida V. Arvizu, age 89, passed away on October 8, 2021. She was born in Arizona, where she later became a member of the Spanish Church Choir. Armida loved God, family, and music. In 1985 she moved to California. She worked for the Carlsbad Unified School District until she retired. Armida served as a greeter at her church. One of her favorite pastimes was going to the casino and eating at the buffet. She also enjoyed going shopping and finding something on sale. Armida treasured spending holidays with her family, especially Christmas! Little did she know that her presence made every day special to us. Armida is survived by her spouse, Ignacio, and 5 children, one of whom proceeded her in death, 3 step children, 8 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. The void in our hearts is filled by knowing she is resting in the Lord’s Hands. We love you, we miss you, and we will see you again!
