Uncle Alex will be terribly missed; his sense of humor and smile and presence cannot be replaced.  Although I did not get to visit him but every few years when he visited his brothers and sisters and the whole Texas bunch; I always enjoyed his visits.  And I was able to keep up with how he was doing whenever I spoke to my Father; his brother, Armando Franco; as they did keep in touch with each other.  Thank you Uncle Alex for carrying my Father to his resting place late last year; now I know both of you are in God's Kingdom with your little brother and your parents and probably causing all kinds of laughter. We are so sadden by the lose of our Uncle "Cano." He was a very good person and we will truly miss him. I'll always remember how he always called me "Brocha" everytime he saw or talked to me. Uncle Cano always had names for everyone! I will miss his emails and the pictures he use to send so frequently. He will be missed and always remembered.

 My memories of you. To me you were very Sophisticated, Kind, very Funny and Forgiving lol , unless you were still mad about the time I started a couple of fires at your house and got into all you're paint when I was a little girl. But I know you weren't. :)  Although you lived far from me you were still there to help my husband and me. My heart saddens to know you're gone. But my memories of you I will hold on. Love you much and you will be missed.

Tio I made chorizo con juevos this morning and remembered making the same thing in your kitchen 12 years ago while on my Senior trip after graduating. I miss you so much. May Gods arms keep you warm and safe. I love you.

I know we are all sad that we lost our grandpa and our friend. Together we have cried an ocean of tears because we feel so empty because hes no longer here, but grandpa would want us to know he's in a good place and that hes watching us all with a smile on his face. As we have made him so proud, and as proud as we are of he that he has raised such a beautiful family. I am really lucky and privileged to have known him to this day because in my life he was such a special part and the memories I will always cherish and keep close in my heart.  I am glad my little boy he did get to meet. And for all of us, be grateful, his life is now complete and each one of us he loved and cared. And as a family, be thankful for all the good times we shared :)

We are so sorry to hear of Alex's passing.  He was a great man and favorite Tio.  Being so far away in Tennessee, Alex kept in touch with frequent e-mails, both serious and funny.  He could always make us smile.  We will miss him!
