James “Jim” Sigmon, Jr, 50, of Glen Fork received his heavenly healing and went to be with the Lord Thursday, June 4, 2015. Born August 20, 1964 in Beckley, WV, he was the son of James Norman Sigmon, Sr. and the late Betty Gail Stewart Sigmon. Jim was a Godly man who expressed his love for the Lord through music ministry. His heart had a burning to see people give their lives to the Lord. He was a lifelong member of Matheny Methodist Church. Jim was a devoted family man. What a wonderful husband he was; always having a loving smile and open arms. He loved and cherished his girls, they were his life. He was very proud to be their daddy. He was a 1982 graduate of Oceana High School and a 1992 graduate of Southern WV Community and Technical College. Jim was employed as a salesman at various car dealerships in Beckley, where he made and cared for wonderful friends. He was an active member of the Republican Party and held the office of President of the Wyoming County Republican Committee in the 1990’s. Left to cherish Jim’s memory and carry on his ministry are: his wonderful, loving and devoted father, James N. Sigmon, Sr. and step mother, Betty of Glen Fork; his wife, Karen Ester Sigmon and daughters, Molly Kate Sigmon and Chloe Grace Sigmon, all of Glen Fork, all of whom were devoted to giving Jim loving care and support. He will also be dearly missed by his step sister, Kathy Parnell of Rural Retreat VA; step brother, Mark Acord of Tampa, FL; sisters-in-law, Anita D. Boothe and Cindy Bower of Fairdale; nephews, Erik Zane Bower, Corey Allen Boothe and Chase Elliot Boothe, all of Fairdale; brother-in-law, Timothy Zane Bower of Fairdale; precious cousins and dozens of friends. “Take care of your salvation today, cause you never know what will happen tomorrow”- Jim
