Steven Scheer

Steven L. Scheer died on Sunday, January 29, after a tough battle with brain cancer, at the age of 60. Born in Forest Hills, NY on April 5, 1956. Married Abby Gerechoff on November 3, 1979, whom he had met at Monmouth University, where they both graduated. Steve has been a respected real estate agent and broker at G&G Realtors for almost 40 years, working with his wife, daughter, and mother and father-in-law, Nancy and Irwin Gerechoff. He won the “Best of the Best Realtor” award from the Asbury Park Press and he is a recipient of the “Circle of Excellence Award” from the Monmouth County Association of Realtors. He was a member of Congregation Torat El.

Steve loved swimming, diving, being active, music, art, theater, travel and most of all, spending time with his family.

He is survived by his wife Abby and children Jordana and Nathan Cohen, Rachel, Samantha, Russell, grandson Amos and sister Leslie Naveh. Predeceased is his mother and father, Joyce and Stanley Scheer.
